2.      The Homeless Animal Rescue Team in Cumberland has a lot of “HART” for the cats in their care. The shelter provides an open environment for feline residents and loads of TLC. More information at www.hartofme.com

 

3.      Protecting the marine environment and promoting cooperation to ensure the safety of whales and other marine life is the job of The Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment. See all they have to offer at www.gulfofmaine.org

 

4.      An adoption center plus a thrift store means more money to fund this “wall-less” rescue. Another Chance Animal Rescue in North Berwick  cares for homeless pets of all types. www.acanimalrescue.org
